Double Sided Tape – 3mm, 6mm. Photo in seated position.  Rhinestone Swirls.  Webster’s Pages Story Teller Lettering.  Calligraphy Pen. Charms and a cameo I had in my stash.

Step-by-Step:

1. Work the Background

image

Starting with the Growing Up Girl page.  Choose a background stencil of your choice.  I have used hearts.  Position the stencils where you would like to create the effect on the page.  I have placed one above the cupboard to the center of the page and the other at the bottom right.  Use the Glitter Glue to create the stencil images.  Tip: When you lift the stencils be sure to wipe your stencils with a warm wet cloth in order to remove any Glitter Glue on the stencil.  I also sprinkled some Crafters Glitter over the Glitter Glue to give a more intense color in sections of the stenciled image.  Note that I have not trimmed the bottom edge of the paper as I liked the ribbon edge effect.

2. Prepare all the chipboard pieces.

image

Start with the Window & Shutters.  Use the Ranger  Adirondack Lights Acrylic Paint Dabber – Shell Pink and dab the entire Window & Shutters.  Next cut the table in half and dab with the gold ink pad. Place aside to dry while using the Silver little ink pad to paint the Vintage Parlour Chair silver.  Use the Ranger Snow Cap Dabber to paint the Poodle white and lastly use the Ranger Liquid Pearls Silver to create a shiny effect on the Vintage Chandelier.  Do not apply the Liquid pearls on the candle flames and hanging crystals of the chandelier.

3. Some texture and finer details

image

Add some Glitter Flocky Powder to the poodle and add a black tip for its nose.  Finish the chandelier by sticking the oval teardrop rhinestones on the candle flames and the hanging crystals.  I added a bigger rhinestone to the center bottom hanging crystal.

I have also added a bow.

4. Cutting

image

Cut out the flower section of the xx paper and as well as the seated image of your photo.  Using double sided tape to stick the cut flowers to the right hand corner of the layout and your photo image as if the person is sitting on the chair.

Once done cut a piece of sky from the Webster’s Pages: Our Travels – Journey Begins and stick it to the back of the window frame.

Use a frame die of your choice and cut a frame for your table mirror.  I have used one of Marianne’s Design Dies.

5. Assembly Preparations.

Add double sided tape to the window & shutters, chandelier, the vintage parlour chair, table and Poodle.

Once done cut a piece of sky from the Webster’s Pages: Our Travels – Journey Begins and stick the craft mirror to the back of the frame.

6. Assemble First Layer

image

Add the pieces to the page in the order that each piece has been numbered. Tip: By allowing the chandelier and vintage palour chair to overlay sections of the window & shutters it will create dimension to the layout.

7. Flower time.

image

Start by sticking the photo first and then the areas of flowers as each area has been numbered.  I have used Liquid Glue for sticking all the flowers.  The handle for the cupboard is a little flower charm from a hairpin I had in my stash.  Don’t for het the Poodle and a ribbon above the mirror.  Add the first layer of lace at the top of the page with double sided paint.

8. Next layer of detail.

image

Add the next two layers of lace.  Another two flowers.  Rhinestones and pearls to the mirror.  Lastly add the cameo and charms of your choice.  I have added a little ribbon to each.

9. Final touches.

For a little extra shine I added two rhinestone swirls.  Squeeze some glitter…

And now Annabelle has her own little house!!!

  1. This is breathtaking! One big Wow! So creative, and with so much detail. I wish I have a room like this, not just a dolls house.
Those tinny details are just so thoughtful. I love the hand held mirror that is on the table, the pearls around the mirror. The creativity is breathless. Well done Remaé!! You should be very proud of your self.
